Help with a download

Many common problems are answered in the questions and answers on our homepage. If you still need help, please include:

  • the YouTube link you tried;
  • your device and browser, for example "Android phone, Chrome" or "iPhone, Safari";
  • what happened: the message you saw (a screenshot helps) and roughly when.

We can't help with your YouTube account or channel, and we can't remove videos from YouTube. For those, please contact YouTube.

Privacy requests and grievances

To access, correct or delete personal data, or to use another privacy right, use the subject "Privacy request" (see Your rights). Complaints for our Grievance Officer go to the same address with the subject "Grievance" (see Grievance Officer).

When to expect a reply

  • Most messages: we aim to reply within 2 working days.
  • Grievances: acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved, or our decision explained, within 15 days.
  • Copyright notices: handled promptly once we have all the required details.

Please write in English if you can.

Stay safe

ssyoutube is free. We will never ask you for a password, a one-time code (OTP), payment or bank details, and we never ask you to install an app. If someone claiming to be ssyoutube asks for any of these, it is not us: please don't reply, and let us know.
